VisSim Personal
Edition (VisSim PE) is a 100 block limited, entry level version of Visual
Solutions' award winning VisSim Professional
software - a Windows-based program for the modelling and simulation of
dynamic systems. VisSim PE combines an intuitive drag-and-drop block diagram
interface with a powerful simulation engine. The simulation engine provides
fast and accurate solutions for linear, non-linear, continuous time, discrete
time, time varying, SISO, MIMO and hybrid systems. The block diagram interface
offers a simple but powerful method for developing, modifying and maintaining
complex system models.
VisSim PE includes:
- a comprehensive library of electromechanical, electric,
hydraulic, process, chemical, thermal and turbine models
- MATLAB® Integration Tools
- Controls, Electro-Mechanical, Pade, Signal Generation and
General Toolbox libraries
- VisSim/Viewer™,
a run-time only version of VisSim PE that enables users to distribute
VisSim PE models to individuals not licensed to use VisSim PE
VisSim PE Options include:
- VisSim/AnalyzePE™: Linearizes non-linear systems. Performs
Bode, root locus and Nyquist analysis of continuous and discrete systems.
Provides pole placement control design. VisSim/AnalyzePE is limited
to systems with 7 states or less, and otherwise offers most of the capability
of VisSim/Analyze.
