Mathcad - Academic Edition
Use the tool that students and educators at more than 2,000 colleges
and universities around the world are already using in their maths, science
and engineering departments. Through its patented technology and use of
natural math notation, Mathcad lets students easily manipulate maths and
see the results change instantly, creating an unparalleled learning experience.
Students and teachers can then focus on math concepts rather than getting
bogged down in software syntax. Built-in examples, tutorials and reference
material make Mathcad the ideal calculation tool for both professors

Mathcad Application Server
The Mathcad Application Server is a Web-based version of Mathcad that
allows authors to create and distribute Mathcad worksheets to a broad
audience of users. Authors create documents in Mathcad, indicating the
variables they will allow users to change, and save them to the server.
Using a standard Internet browser — no applications or plug-ins
required — users view and interact with Mathcad worksheets. Users
interface with Mathcad documents through HTML form fields, rather than
the Mathcad live document editor, thus removing any requirements for learning
or installing Mathcad on client systems.
The Mathcad Application Server supports all built-in math functionality
within Mathcad Enterprise for Web page development, in addition to support
for User EFIs. The Mathcad Application Server is not a substitute for
the full power and interactivity of Mathcad, but rather a way to use Mathcad
to distribute maths-oriented Web content, including forms-based interactive
worksheet applications.
