Command completion templates
Command completion templates provide a fill-in-the-blank approach to entering common commands. Pop-up menus offer not just a choice of command names, but the calling sequences for each command. Simply select the appropriate command, fill in the arguments, and execute.
- Placeholder names are meaningful, so it is easy to know which argument goes where
- Tab between placeholders, and simply type over the placeholder to insert the new value
- More than one calling sequence is offered, along with a brief description, when the command can be called in different ways
