Maple PowerTools are free add-on Maple packages and academic courses.

Research Application PowerTools are Maple packages developed by experts in their fields to help users configure Maple for research in specific application areas.


     
  A Maple package for calculating and graphing hydrogenic or Slater-type orbitals. It provides routines for normalized spherical harmonics, real linear combinations of spherical harmonics, orbitals with both radial and angular parts, overlap integrals for atomic orbitals, and Slater-type orbitals   A Maple package for simulation of dynamical systems. It provides routines for building and simulating a physical system one step at a time, including adding point-masses and springs, specifying the dimensions along which masses can move, and animating and graphing the behavior of the system over time.  
     
  Using the Statics Maple package, a civil engineer can input a basic structure along with its load and material parameters, and instantly derive the essential properties of the loaded system.   Interval Arithmetic provides basic data types and operations for interval arithmetic as well as features for interval computation.  
 

 
 
  A combined Maple-Java package that adds new interactivity to Maple plots in both web pages and worksheets.
  Finite Elements is a set of Maple packages for analyzing potential flow and elasticity using symbolic finite-element models (FEM).  
 
   
  Vector Calculus is a Maple 7 package for vector differential operations, curve analysis, coordinate system conversions, and multiple integrals.   This package provides numerical algorithms for finding local minima and maxima of nonlinear functions subject to nonlinear inequality constraints.
 
 


 


 
  A package of Maple routines that automatically generate the kinematic and dynamic equations in symbolic form for 3-D flexible multibody systems.   This Maple package generates and solves the node equations for electric circuits symbolically.  
   


 
  This package provides over 130 Maple functions for exploring concepts in probability and statistics.
