FlexPro User Interface
FlexPro
offers you a very user-friendly, modern object-oriented user interface.
Use drag & drop, for instance, to copy, move and link objects, to
import data or to add a new curve or a new axis to a diagram.
You can work on your diagrams, tables and documents directly on the
screen by selecting one or more elements and then modifying attributes
such as font size, color, line width, etc. using the toolbar.
The Properties window is a brand new feature in FlexPro 7. This window
clearly displays the properties of the currently selected objects in
a list. You can then directly edit these objects without opening dialog
boxes. An especially powerful feature is the ability to work with several
objects at once. For instance, the Properties window allows you to assign
a physical unit to several data sets in a single step.
Have you experimented with your data and discovered a mistake in the
process that you would really like to reverse? Have you accidentally
deleted a dataset? Would you like to undo changes made to a diagram?
That's no problem with FlexPro! The multi-level undo/redo function can
be used in all areas of the program. You can reverse all of the steps
in your work. Work with your data without worrying about taking any risks.
There's always a way to go back!
If you are working with FlexPro Standard or Professional, you can customize
the user interface to your needs by changing the FlexPro menus or customizable
toolbars. These versions also include a user manager with which you can
configure the menu configuration and the permissions for individual users.
This way you can, for example, distinguish between developers and users
who only employ pre-defined analyses and thus effectively prevent operational
errors.
A great help when working with FlexPro is the Quick Macro. With the
press of a button you can start the macro recorder to record a series
of repeatedly executed steps in an operation. After you stop recording
you can then use another key to run the macro as often as you like.
