Surak Perera applies himself to a new challenge

Adept Scientific plc (Letchworth, Herts) appoints Surak Perera as Applications Support Specialist.

Surak joins Adept having recently completed a MEng in Aerospace at Southampton University. His Masters project was to design and manufacture a thermal mass flowmeter for an experimental rocket engine’s fuel intake system.

Working initially on the popular Mathcad software, Surak will be extending his expertise to cover the full range of maths products offered by Adept.

Sri Lankan born Surak has spent much of his life in the UK and has just finished an extensive ‘tour’ of the Andaman Islands in the Bay of Bengal. “I’ve always really wanted to visit the Islands and this seemed like the ideal opportunity before I get stuck into my new position with Adept,” Surak said.
