EndNote X1 patch for Macintosh File Size 2.05 mb   This update provides EndNote Cite While You Write compatibility with Microsoft Word 2008. INSTRUCTIONS: EndNote X1 and Word 2008 SP1 must be installed prior to running this patch. Word 2008 needs to be updated to at least Service Pack 1. Download the file "CWYW_Word_2008.dmg" (File Size: 3 MB). Close EndNote and Microsoft Word 2008. Double-click the "CWYW_Word_2008.dmg" file to mount. Double-click the "CWYW For Word 2008" Disk Image to open. Double-click the "CWYW For Word 2008.pkg" file to start the installer. Follow the installer prompts to update Word 2008. Use the steps here if you do not see the tools after installing. A few minor issues exist with this patch: Configure EndNote does not install/uninstall CWYW for Word 2008. This patch installer is the only way to add the EndNote X1 tools to Word 2008. Figure commands result in unexpected issues with the CWYW tools. We do not recommend working with figure lists with EndNote X1 and Word 2008. The CWYW keyboard shortcuts do not work, so you must use the menu items or the toolbar.
